eTwo Sublative™ Complete Facial Rejuvenation Treatment

The eTwo Sublative™ delivers fractional bipolar radiofrequency technology via a matrix of electrodes. This fractional delivery of RF energy causes micro epidermal ablative injuries with wider spread dermal injury. This initiates a strong wound healing response in the dermal matrix while also minimising the damage to the epidermis. Less affected tissue surrounding the matrix points may be stimulated by heat which helps accelerate the healing process, leading to a smoother, rejuvenated appearance of the skin. Mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discolouration are reduced and skin texture becomes more smooth and elastic. This treatment can be targeted to laxity under the eye, wrinkles around the mouth, forehead wrinkles, textural issues, uneven tone, skin laxity, acne scars, other scars including keloids and laxity.

What is Sublative™ Resurfacing?

eTwo Sublative™ for skin rejuvenation, uses fractional bipolar radiofrequency technology to place the heat energy effectively into the upper dermis where it can stimulate a significant increase in both collagen and elastin with minimal epidermal disruption.

How does Sublative™ work?

The ergonomic Sublative™ applicator delivers bipolar radiofrequency energy via a matrix of electrodes in the disposable applicator tip. This fractional delivery of RF energy causes micro-epidermal ablative injuries with wider spread dermal injury. This initiates a strong wound healing response in the dermal matrix while also minimizing the damage to the epidermis. Can all areas be treated?

The Sublative™ RF applicator comes with multiple tip configurations for various treatment protocols – 64 pin tips for fast full face improved skin tone and texture, as well as the 44 pin tip for smaller areas and focused treatments of under-eye laxity, wrinkles around the mouth and forehead wrinkles.

When can patients expect to see results?

Immediately post treatment, they may notice tone and texture improvements as a result of increased levels of beneficial collagen and new healthy skin cells which are produced. With the treatment’s dermal impact, mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discolorations are reduced.

How many treatments are recommended?

Typically 3 – 5 treatments, 4 – 6 weeks apart. The total number of required treatment sessions depends on the skin condition of the patient.

How is the Sublative™ treatment tolerated by patients?

During treatment, many patients feel a warm, prickly sensation. After treatment a pink or “sunburn” appearance and feeling is common. Topical anaesthetic and cooling are often used to reduce discomfort during treatment.

Is there downtime?

There is minimal downtime with a maximum expected downtime of 2 or 3 days. Most patients can quickly resume their normal activities immediately post treatment.
